Ingredients
  

For the burger
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
For the toppings
  • 1 head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 each avocado, sliced
  • 1/2 cup pickles
  • 1/4 cup red onion, sliced
For the special sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise paleo-friendly if needed
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper optional

Method
 

Cooking the Beef
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until browned and cooked through. Drain excess grease.
Making the Sauce
  1. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, paprika, and cayenne pepper to create the special sauce.
Assembling the Bowls
  1. To assemble the bowls, divide the chopped lettuce among bowls. Top with cooked ground beef, cherry tomatoes, avocado, pickles, and red onion.
  2. Drizzle with special sauce before serving.

Notes

Customize the bowls using other toppings like cheese, jalapeƱos, or corn. For a low-carb option, serve on a bed of cauliflower rice. The special sauce can be made a day in advance and stored in the fridge.
