  • 1 lb ground beef Use lean beef for best results.
  • 1/2 cup almond flour Can use coconut flour as an alternative.
  • 1 large egg Binding agent for the meatballs.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder Enhances flavor.
  • 1 tsp onion powder Adds sweetness.
  • 1 tsp salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper For seasoning.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds richness to meatballs.
Gravy Ingredients
  • 1 cup beef broth For the base of the gravy.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream Makes the gravy creamy.
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce Enhances the umami flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, almond flour, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and Parmesan cheese until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs.
Cooking
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the meatballs until browned on all sides.
  2. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add beef broth, heavy cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
  4. Return the meatballs to the skillet and coat them with the gravy.
  5. Cover and simmer for about 15-20 minutes until the meatballs are cooked through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with parsley if desired.

Notes

Make sure not to overmix the meatball mixture to keep them tender. You can adjust the seasonings to your taste; try adding herbs like oregano or basil for extra flavor. If the gravy is too thick, you can add more beef broth or cream to achieve your desired consistency.
