  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese Melts beautifully on top, adding richness and flavor.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it is browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes, until the onion is soft.
  4. Stir in the drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and sour cream. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the mixture.
  7. Add the crispy fried onions as the last layer.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and the top is golden brown.

Notes

Serve hot with a side salad or crusty bread. For a complete meal, add cooked rice or mashed potatoes on the side. Leftovers last 3-4 days in the fridge. Can freeze before baking.
