Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until it is browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes, until the onion is soft.
- Stir in the drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and sour cream. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the mixture.
- Add the crispy fried onions as the last layer.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and the top is golden brown.
Notes
Serve hot with a side salad or crusty bread. For a complete meal, add cooked rice or mashed potatoes on the side. Leftovers last 3-4 days in the fridge. Can freeze before baking.
