Pasta
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
Chicken and Sauce
  • 2 pieces chicken breasts, diced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped For garnish

Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Preparing the Chicken
  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add the diced chicken to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper, and cook until the chicken is golden and cooked through.
  3. Stir in lemon juice and lemon zest, mixing well.
Combining
  1. Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet, tossing to combine with the chicken and sauce.
  2. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve warm, ideally with a side salad or steamed vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
