Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine oats, protein powder, nut butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well until combined.
- Stir in dark chocolate chips and nuts/seeds if using.
- Press the mixture into a lined 8x8 inch baking dish evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until firm.
- Cut into bars and store in the refrigerator.
Notes
Store the protein bars in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. You can also freeze them for longer storage, wrapping each one in plastic wrap or foil before placing them in a freezer-safe bag.
