  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds Consider storing separately until serving
Dressing
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Substitute with Greek yogurt for a lighter version
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, red onion, cherry tomatoes, and sunflower seeds.
  2. In a separate small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the broccoli mixture and mix well to combine.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding spices or herbs such as garlic powder or dill to the dressing. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
