Ingredients
  

For the Teriyaki Sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce or tamari Use tamari for gluten-free option.
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp sugar substitute (like erythritol or stevia) Adjust sweetness to taste.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Use fresh for best flavor.
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated Use fresh for best flavor.
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped For garnish.
  • to taste tbsp sesame seeds For garnish.

Method
 

Making Teriyaki Sauce
  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar substitute, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar to make the teriyaki sauce.
Cooking the Chicken
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the diced chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the chicken and let it simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Once the sauce thickens slightly, remove from heat.
Serving
  1. Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Notes

Ensure the skillet is hot enough before adding the chicken for a nice sear. Feel free to adjust the sweetness by changing the amount of sugar substitute used.
