Main ingredients
  • 1 pound ground breakfast pork Use good quality sausage for the best flavor.
  • 3 oz cream cheese Helps to create a creamy texture.
  • 3/4 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock Adjust for desired gravy consistency.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Brown the ground pork over medium heat until fully cooked and nicely browned.
  2. Remove the cooked sausage from the pan, keeping the fat in the pan.
  3. Whisk in the cream cheese, heavy cream, and chicken stock into the fat over medium heat. Stir continuously until the gravy thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the cooked sausage back to the gravy and mix well.

Notes

Serve warm over low-carb biscuits, cauliflower mash, or zucchini noodles. Topping with chopped green onions or parsley adds extra flavor.
