  • 1 lb ground beef Use lean ground beef for best results.
  • 1 cup cream cheese Softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese Can substitute with mozzarella or cheddar.
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced Use any color bell pepper.
  • 1 onion, sliced Yellow or white onion recommended.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking For sautéing vegetables.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and peppers, and sauté until softened.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. In the same skillet, add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
  5. Stir in the cream cheese until melted and combined. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with shredded provolone cheese.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy your low-carb meal!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3-4 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven before serving.
