  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds a robust flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped Fresh herbs enhance flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint, chopped Adds a traditional Greek taste.
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano Classic herb for Greek dishes.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef or lamb, almond flour, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, parsley, mint, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into small meatballs.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook the meatballs until browned on all sides and cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
  3. Serve warm.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh herbs. Do not overmix the meat mixture to keep the meatballs tender. If the mixture is too wet, add a bit more almond flour. For extra flavor, consider adding feta cheese or crushed olives to the mixture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
