Method
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the cauliflower florets and cook until tender (about 5-7 minutes). Drain and set aside.
Cooking the Meat
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Making the Cheese Sauce
- In a separate bowl, combine the cream cheese and beef broth. Whisk until smooth.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and well combined.
Combining and Baking
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked cauliflower and the beef mixture. Pour the cheese sauce over the top and mix until everything is well coated.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until heated through and slightly bubbly.
Serving
- If desired, top with diced pickles and tomatoes before serving.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
