Method
Cooking the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Sautéing the Vegetables
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and bell peppers. Cook until the vegetables are soft, about 5-7 minutes.
Browning the Beef
- Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook, stirring regularly, until it’s browned and cooked through. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and chili flakes.
Making the Sauce
- Reduce the heat to low. Add the cream cheese and mix it into the beef and vegetables. Stir until it’s all combined and creamy. Add the shredded mozzarella and cheese slices, continuing to mix until melted and smooth.
Combining Pasta and Sauce
- Add the cooked macaroni to the skillet. Stir until the pasta is evenly coated with the cheesy sauce.
Serving
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Serve hot, alongside a fresh side salad for extra crunch. Extra parsley or chili flakes can be added for more flavor.
