  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 pieces lemons (juice and zest) Use fresh lemons for the best flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • for garnish Fresh parsley

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them.
  4. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on top of the chicken.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

To store any leftovers, put the chicken in an airtight container and keep it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave until heated through.
