  • 1 lb ground pork or chicken You can use ground beef, turkey, or plant-based meat crumbles as alternatives.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil Oil for cooking.
  • 4 cups coleslaw mix Base of the dish, packed with vegetables.
  • 3 pieces green onions, chopped Can be used as a garnish.
Flavorings
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Fresh garlic adds depth of flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce or coconut aminos Use tamari for gluten-free.
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated Fresh ginger enhances the dish.
  • Salt and pepper to taste Adjust based on preference.
  • Optional: red pepper flakes, for heat Adjust to your spice preference.

Method
 

Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add ground pork or chicken, cooking until browned and cooked through.
  3. Stir in garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and coleslaw mix.
  4. Cook for about 5-6 minutes, until the coleslaw mix is wilted.
  5. Add green onions, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Stir to combine.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop until warmed through. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor, and adjust the heat with red pepper flakes based on your preference.
