  • 1 cup broccoli florets Fresh or frozen, thawed and drained if frozen.
  • 1 cup cooked rice White or brown rice can be used.
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup Can be substituted with cream of chicken.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to use other cheese options.
  • 1/2 cup milk Adjust according to preference.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, broccoli, cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir until everything is well mixed.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and hot.
  2. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Tip: Add breadcrumbs or more cheese for a crispy topping during the last 5-10 minutes of baking. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days or frozen before baking for up to two months.
