  • 4 pieces flatbreads
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce Any variety of BBQ sauce can be used.
Toppings
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella) Feel free to swap for goat cheese or pepper jack.
  • 1/2 pieces red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro Optional for garnishing.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust based on preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until well coated.
  3. Place the flatbreads on a baking sheet.
  4. Distribute the BBQ chicken evenly on each flatbread.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese and red onion on top.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  2. Remove from the oven, garnish with cilantro, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Slice into pieces and serve warm.

Notes

Serve warm with a side salad or crunchy veggies. Offer extra BBQ sauce for dipping. You can prepare the toppings ahead of time for quick assembly.
