  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce Use tamari for gluten-free version.
  • 2 tablespoons honey Adjust to taste preference.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds Toast for extra crunch.
  • 2 pieces green onions, chopped For garnish.
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the chicken pieces with soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Heat the sesame oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions on top.

Notes

Serve hot with rice or noodles. Add stir-fried vegetables for more nutrition. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
