  • 4 pieces tilapia fillets (4-6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter Choose olive oil for a healthier option.
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon chili powder Adjust according to spice preference.
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the tilapia fillets dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil (or melted butter), paprika, chili powder, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Brush both sides of the tilapia fillets with the spice mixture.
  3. Place the fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Cook for 8-10 minutes until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serving
  1. Remove the tilapia carefully from the air fryer and serve hot with fresh lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

If you have leftovers, allow the tilapia to cool down before storing. Place the cooked fillets in an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 2 days. Reheat in the air fryer or microwave when you're ready to enjoy them again. Ensure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking.
