Ingredients

Dough and Egg Wash
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 whole egg for egg wash
Fillings
  • 1 cup cooked protein (ham, chicken, or pepperoni)
  • 1 cup cheese (mozzarella or cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup vegetables (peppers, onions, or mushrooms)
  • to taste seasoning (salt, pepper, garlic powder)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the crescent roll dough and cut it into rectangles.
  3. On half of each rectangle, add a layer of protein, cheese, and vegetables, then season as desired.
  4. Fold the dough over to create pockets and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.
  5. Brush the tops with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
Cooking
  1. Place the hot pockets in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  2. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  3. Let cool for a few moments before serving.

Notes

To store leftovers, let the hot pockets cool completely and place them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat them in the air fryer for a few minutes to regain crispiness. Seal edges well to prevent filling from leaking out.
