Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 pound fresh green beans
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil spray

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the ends of the green beans and wash them thoroughly.
  3. In a bowl, combine the almond flour, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. In another bowl, beat the eggs.
  5. Dip each green bean into the egg, allowing excess to drip off, then coat it in the almond flour mixture.
Cooking
  1. Arrange the coated green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  2. Spray lightly with cooking spray for added crispiness.
  3. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately as a snack or side dish.

Notes

Make sure the green beans are dry before coating them to help the breading stick better. Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket; this will help the fries cook evenly and become crispy. Experiment with spices to add more flavors, like paprika or Italian seasoning! If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 2-3 days. To reheat, pop them back in the air fryer for a few minutes to regain their crispiness.
